The DJI Phantom 4 has brought imaging and intelligence to new heights. Its new version, the Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 is an updated model with one big difference: it’s much quieter, with DJI claiming propeller noise has been reduced by around 60 percent. Also new is a switch to DJI’s OcuSync transmission technology. OcuSync is designed for low-latency, high-resolution video, specifically for use with DJI’s FPV racing goggles, and promises better performance across the board compared to the old system.
However, one of the best features of this improved model is its new 5-direction obstacle avoidance system. When you hit the “return to home’” button, the drone will fly to a preset height, then make a beeline straight back to where it took off from. If there are any obstacles in the way, the Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 will dynamically avoid them and soon it will return to you with no damage.
