The swim communicator is a Bluetooth enabled device that aids real-time communication between swim coaches and their swimmers. This device is game changing for swim class tutors because the swimmer can hear advice or lesson and implement it immediately. The Swim Coach Communicator is linked to a Bluetooth enabled receiver attached to the back of the head of the swimmer, and real time corrections can be made about technique, pace and all.
With this device, only a smartphone is required to download the application and the microphone is used to communicate with the swimmer. Sound is clearly transmitted through the cheekbones to the inner ear, however the receiver is kept above water for successful signal. Of course, the device is waterproof and battery life lasts 4-6 hours after full charge; enough for a training session.
