diskAshur PRO2 by Storage has a validated encryption algorithm which employs an AES-XTS 256-bit full disk hardware encryption. The diskAshur PRO2 seamlessly encrypts all data on the drive, whilst at rest, keeping your data safe even if the hard drive is removed from its enclosure. It is covered by a layer of super tough epoxy resin and is impossible to remove it since it gonna cause permanent damage to the components.
You can pre-program the diskAshur PRO2 with your own unique self-destruct PIN, which once implemented, instantly deletes the encryption key, all PINs, data and then creates a new encryption key. It also automatically locks when unplugged from the host computer or power to the USB port is turned off and can also be set to automatically lock after a predetermined amount of time. All data and encryption keys are always encrypted whilst at rest.
