Army Red by Lampster is the top seller in The Lampster line up. It has a rusted embossed hand painted pattern which covers the metal head, and its body. Lampster's inspiration were the old tractor lights and their rusty look, while the star on the chest and the stripes on the head, are reminding the old military vehicles. For its perfect ''rusty'' look Lampster used a combination of 8 different colours.
Functions
Except from its vintage design the lamp has several smart features such as a rotating head, which covers a 360° rotation for the light, and a touch button, to turn on or off the lamp -without the app-. Army's body is hollow on the inside and made from recycled plastics and you can fill it with gravel to add weight to the lamp. As for the lights, the lamp has 120 LED's: 48 white Osram LED's, 24 in white warm and 24 in cold white. Also, 8.5 Wats of led power makes the equivalent of over 70w incandescent bulb. There are 72 RGB LED's in 4W as the equivalent of 40 Watts incandescent of power that are used for the different color combinations to double their span of life.
Mobile app
The app lets you control every aspect of the lamp and increases the various features. You can control and blend cold and warm light to a particular desired combination and save the settings, so you can have your own customized settings for diverse activities. One of Lampster's smart feature is its RGB LED. One can control it from the app, to select the desired colour. There is a wake up alarm and a shut down function to schedule a specific time to shut the lamp down or wake you up, smoothly with a selected colour of anyone's choice. A smart feature to keep you under protection and save energy, is the automatically shut down. You can either schedule to turn off the lamp at an exact time, or activate the function to shut it down when you leave your place. The temperature is also monitored and if it hits over 60 degrees, the lamp will dim or shut down so it will not damage itself!
